Status Issued

Description
UE3500 installed with the Solaris 2.6 3/98 or 5/98
End User Cluster will fail to boot with a message similar
to:

cannot load drivers for
sbus@2,0/sunw,socal@c,10000/ss@0,0/ssd@w21000020370eaf1c,0:a

This will be seen if any cluster lower than Entire Distribution
is selected.
SOLUTION SUMMARY:
You can install just the End User Cluster or any cluster lower than
Entire distribution of Solaris 2.6 3/98 or 5/98 on an Ultra Enterprise
3500, but you must also add the SUNWssadv and SUNWhea packages to make
it work.

	SUNWhea SunOS Header Files
	SUNWssadv	SPARCstorage Array Drivers

During the installation of Solaris 2.6 3/98 or 5/98, select the
Customize software button and select the SUNWssadv and SUNWhea
packages. Adding these two packages will allow the installation to boot.
