Description

When replacing a controller in an A3X00 or RSM2000, the mnf file will be updated automatically.

Here is an example of a /etc/osa/mnf file:

nasc_001~1T71525033~ 0~1T93500060~~0~3~~c3t5d0~c2t4d0~

serial # 1 serial # 2 1st ctrl 2nd ctrl

Here is an example of an mnf file from a problematic system:

nasc_001~1T71525033~ 0~!UNKNOWN~~0~3~~c3t5d0~~

serial # 1 1st ctrl

Here is an example of an mnf file after the controller has been replaced:

nasc_001~1T71525033~ 0~1T63200060~~0~3~~c3t5d0~c2t4d0~

serial # 1 new serial # 2 1st ctrl new 2nd ctrl

To have the mnf file updated, you will need to stop and restart the RM6 GUI.
