Status Issued

Description

When upgrading an E10K from Solaris 2.6 to Solaris 2.7, be sure to remove a package called FJSVhea. Failure to remove this package may cause the upgrade to hang. This package contains header files ONLY, and can be added back after the upgrade.

To remove the package, use the pkgrm(1M) command:

pkgrm FJSVhea

If the upgrade does hang, it may be possible to exit the upgrade, remove the package, and restart the upgrade.
