Execute the following after the scsi controller is installed, and the A1000 box is powered on....

Note: When the machine returns from the reset-all command, it will stop at the "ok" prompt.

Note: "Unit 0 Disk Symbios StorEdge A1000" indicates a LUN (logical unit number).

By default the box is shipped with 1 LUN. The other unit numbers indicate possible LUN's.

During boot of the system you see the following message which is normal:

-> WARNING: /sbus@b,0/QLGC,isp@0,10000/sd@4,0 (sd4):

-> corrupt label - wrong magic number

The above warning is normal because we have not yet created and labled the LUN's yet.

Once the RM6 packages and patches are installed, you can then create/label the LUN's and

you should not see the "Warning" message.

The following output shows an A1000 with 3 LUN's constructed....
