[rancid] Re: Issues with Sendmail using Rancid

You may be missing your Relay if you send mail through another server.

you can edit /etc/mail/sendmail.cf or /etc/sendmail.cf depend on your
operating system.

and edit as 

# "Smart" relay host (may be null)
DS<mailserver_hostname>

example
DSmail.domain.com (remove the "< & >")

Restart Sendmail

well like i said im pretty new to sendmail . All i did was simply 
install it using apt-get install sendmail
