Perhaps communities should become mandatory transitive attributes? Or, at a
minimum, perhaps the default configuration (as is the case with one major
vendor)? From what I am seeing, the current ptomaine work (aside from
nopeer) is heavily reliant on communities, which as you suggest, often are
broken. There have been many a route leakage because one peer was not
configured to propagate communities.
