Preface

Preface

The Cisco Content Distribution Network (CDN) Enterprise solution allows organizations to maximize the impact of Web communications by making possible the rapid delivery of high-quality video, rich audio, large graphics, presentations, and documents over corporate local-area and wide-area networks.

This document provides instructions on the installation and configuration of your CDN system, including Content Engines (CEs) and the Content Distribution Manager (CDM), which provides a Web-based interface to CDN users and administrators. The CDM includes features for configuring new devices and users on your CDN, creating and populating content channels, allocating bandwidth, viewing media, and more.
