This preface describes the objectives, audience, organization, and conventions of the
Cisco MGX 8850 Installation and Configuration publication.

The Cisco MGX 8850 Installation and Configuration publication provides installers, operators, and network designers and managers with the necessary understanding to set up any applications of the MGX 8850 switches.
