All alarm conditions on the MGX 8250 generate traps. The MGX 8250 switch sends the alarm traps to all registered trap managers. Alarms collected include:
shelfIntegratedAlarmTrap | Indicates that the shelf integrated alarm status is changed and sends the status of the shelf integrated alarm |
shelfLossLmiAlarmTrap | Indicates the Loss of LMI Alarm for BNM trunk (ANNEX G signaling failure) |
shelfLossLmiAlarmClearTrap | Indicates the clearing of Loss of LMI Alarm for AXIS BNM trunk (ANNEX G signaling failure) |
dsx3LineNoAlarmTrap | Indicates no line alarm exists |
dsx3LineInAlarmTrap | Indicates line alarm exists |
sonetLineInAlarmTrap | Indicates line alarm exists |
sonetLineNoAlarmTrap | Indicates line alarm no longer exists |
dsx1LineNoAlarmTrap | Indicates no line alarm exists |
dsx1LineInAlarmTrap | Indicates line alarm exists |
dsx3StatLineAlarmTrap | Indicates the current statistical alarm state |
