FRSM-HS2 module sits in any of the MGX 8250 Service Module slots. The FRSM-HS2 is a high Speed frame relay service module. It provides two 52 Mbps HSSI lines and a peak throughput of 04 Mbps.

Use the Card Configuration dialog to view FRSM-HS2 card characteristics, hardware, firmware, and status information. The Card Configuration dialog parameters are described in Figure 8-1.

Use the LCN Partition Type dialog to configure LCN partition type on a FRSM-HS2 card. (See Figure 8-4.)

There are four ways to select a line (from the front or rear view of the card) to display the appropriate line configuration dialog:
To display the configuration parameters for a HSS1 line/port, select the Category popup menu at the top of the dialog. The categories of line configuration are:
Use the Physical Line Config (HSSI) dialog to view and configure line information. (See Figure 8-6.)
