Select the device (on either the rear or front view) to display the Device Configuration dialog, right-click on the gray area around the slots to display the Device popup menu, then select Configure. The Category popup menu at the top of the dialog lists various categories of configuration parameters. The categories of device configuration are:
These dialogs are described in the sections that follow.
Use the Node dialog to configure node properties. (See Figure 2-1.)

The Node dialog parameters are described in Table 2-1.

Node Name | Specifies the name of the node and is unique among all the nodes in the network. Whenever the name of the node is changed, AutoRoute has to propagate the information to the other nodes in the network. It also specifies the name of a PAR Feeder node.

Use the Statistics Configuration dialog to view statistics information. (See Figure 2-2.)

The Statistics Configuration dialog parameters are described in Table 2-2.

Use the Slot Card Info dialog to display card information for all cards in the chassis. (See Figure 2-3.)

The parameters are described in Table 2-3:

To display and configure switch interface information, select Switch Interface Info from the Category menu. The parameters are described in Table 2-4.

To modify an entry in the Switch Interface Info dialog:
Step 2 Click in the entry to display possible values.
Step 3 Select the appropriate value.
Step 4 Click Modify.
To make sure the information has been changed, reselect the Switch Interface Info dialog. The dialog should refresh to display the new information.
Use the Resource Partitions dialog to display resource partition information. The Resource Partitions dialog parameters are described in Table 2-5.

Partition ID | Resource Partition Identification. A partition in the BXM resource is dedicated for control by the corresponding VSI Master. The partition is not available for any other cards. |
Interface Index | Designates the slot and line numbers, for example, 8.1 signifies slot #8, line #1. |

Oper Status | Operational Status for this resource partition. The status will read enabled or disabled. |
PCV Max Lcns | Maximum number of PVC LCNs of ALL partitions on the Logical Interface (slot.port.vtrk for trunks and slot.port for lines). The LCN value is logical interface based. The default value for this object is 256. |
PCV Max BW | Maximum PVC bandwidth of ALL partitions on the Logical Interface (slot.port.vtrk for trunks and slot.port for lines). The bandwidth is logical interface based. The default value for this object is the line rate of this interface.

VSI Min LCNs | Minimum VSI LCN number of the partition. The default value for this object is 0. |
VSI Max LCNs | Maximum VSI LCN number of the partition. The default value for this object is 0. |
VSI Vpi Start | Start of VSI VPI number of the partition.

VSI Vpi End | End of VSI VPI number of the partition default value for this object is 0.
