Configuring ASM Cards
Select the card (on both the rear or front view) to display the Card Configuration dialog by doing one of the following:
- Double-click the ASM card.
- Select the ASM card, then select Configure>card.
- Select the ASM card, right-click to display the card pop-up menu, then select Configure.
- Select the card, then click the Configure button on the toolbar.
Use the Card Configuration dialog to view ASM card characteristics, hardware, firmware, and status information. The Card Configuration dialog parameters are described in Table 10-1.

Slot No.
| Number that identifies the slot the card is installed in.

Card Status
| Status of the card. Examples are:
- Active: Card in use. No failure.
- Standby: Card idle. No failures.
- Failed: Card failed.
- Down: Card downed.
- Mismatch: Mismatch between front card and back card.
- Update: Processor card being updated by active processor card.
- Locked: Incompatible revision of old software is being maintained, if needed.
- Dnlding: Downloading new system software from adjacent node or workstation.
- Dnldr: Downloading software and configuration from active processor card.
- Missing: An active card has been removed.

BackCard Type
| Back card type.
|
BackCard Serial #
| Serial number on the card.
|
BackCard Revision
| Model number and hardware revision of the back card.
|
No. Ports (Backcard)
| Number of ports on the back of the card.
|
Card Configuration Dialog Parameters
Note This is not a configurable dialog.
