Whenever you are addressing a message to a subscriber (whether forwarding it or leaving a new message) or transferring to a subscriber, you can select the subscriber by name, without entering the subscriber's phone number.
To dial by name:
Step 2 Enter the uOne subscriber's last name by pressing the buttons that correspond to each letter in the name, and press #.
The system may ask you to continue entering. If this happens, enter the first name.
Once the system identifies the subscriber, it speaks the name and phone number of the user. If the last name of more than one subscriber matches the letters you entered, the system speaks the name and number of each. If there are too many matches, the system prompts you to continue entering the name. You can continue, or press *3 to re-enter the name.
Step 3 Press 1 to use the number. (If more than one name matches, press the number that corresponds to the uOne subscriber's name you wish to use.)

This feature allows you to log in to another mailbox without hanging up from your current connection. This is useful when you are traveling with a group from the office. One person can access the system, log into her mailbox and get her messages, and give the phone to someone else who can then log in for his messages.

Note You cannot log in to another mailbox if you use Personal Access for the initial connection. Also, the ability to log in to another mailbox may not be available, depending on how your service provider has chosen to implement outgoing calls. |
To log in to another mailbox:
Step 2 Enter your phone number and press #.
Step 3 Enter your PIN and press #.
