The uOne Manager, a web-based tool, allows operations personnel to centrally manage and monitor Cisco's distributed uOne system. This tool provides reporting and operational state information used for monitoring overall system functionality and reliability.

A crucial part of your job is to monitor uOne process status and various operational statistics on all of the Gateservers in your system configuration. For the uOne system to run smoothly, all uOne processes must be up and running at all times. Refer to "Understanding uOne Processes" in this manual for descriptions of the uOne processes.
Step 2 From the uOne Manager main screen, select Operations.
Step 3 Select one of the following options
Step 4 Select one or more specific hosts or a predefined group of hosts from the drop-down menu.
(Shift Key + Click selects more than one host.)
Step 5 Select a refresh rate or once from the drop-down menu.
Step 6 Click on Generate Report.
The ACB Statistics report provides status and statistical information about the ACB process (SPOBJ). Table 6-2 describes each field in this report.

The Call Statistics report provides status and statistical information about the CMA process (TNTOBJECT). Table 6-3 describes each field in this report.

The FaxPrint Statistics report provides status and statistical information about the FaxPrint process. Table 6-4 describes each field in this report.

Peak in Queue Length Time | The time when the peak in the inbox queue length occurred since FaxPrint has been running. |

The MWI Statistics report provides status and statistical information about the MWI processes (MWI_OnOff and MWI_Notify). Table 6-5 describes each field in this report.

Total SMTP Sent | The total number of SMTP paging requests sent to a paging server since MWI_Notify and MWI_OnOff last started. |
Total Fails | The total number of failures due to no subscriber matches, too many subscriber matches, invalid notify numbers, unsuccessful set MWI requests, and unsuccessful notify via pager requests. |
Total No Subscriber Matches | The total number of failures due to no subscriber matches since MWI_Notify and MWI_OnOff last started. |
Total Too Many Subscriber Matches | The total number of failures resulting from too many subscriber matches since MWI_Notify and MWI_OnOff last started. |
Total Invalid Notify Number | The total number of failures due to invalid notify numbers since MWI_Notify and MWI_OnOff last started. |
Total SMDI Fails | The total number of failures due to unsuccessful set MWI requests since MWI_Notify and MWI_OnOff last started. |
Total SNPP Fails | The total number of failures due to unsuccessful notify via SNPP requests since MWI_Notify and MWI_OnOff last started. |

The uOne Manager provides several reports on system information and statistics.
Step 2 From the uOne Manager main screen, select Unix Commands.
Step 3 Select Unix Command Line.
Step 4 Select one or more hosts from the drop-down menu. (Shift Key + Click selects more than one host.)
Step 5 Perform one of the following steps:
a. Select one of the following options:
b. Enter a Unix command in the entry box. For example, if you enter umcli -s start system, uOne software on all selected hosts will be started.
Step 6 Click on Generate Report.
The uOne Manager provides a report on information about the operation of the Data Extract Director and Web Director scripts, which are the two major components of the uOne Manager application.
Step 2 From the uOne Manager main screen, select Unix Commands.
Step 3 Select Director Logs.
Step 4 Select a day from the drop-down menu.
Step 5 Click on Generate Report.
To ensure that the uOne system is running at optimum capacity, you should monitor uOne call and process activity. You can generate several call and process activity reports. We recommend that you generate these reports at least once a day. You can generate reports for one or more sequential days. The selection criteria for the reports may include day, days, host, host group, COI, and COI group.

Note The selection criteria filters from the source of the activity, not the destination. For example, if user1 from COI1 sends a voice message to user2 from COI2, the Subscriber Voice Message Sent Details Report displays COI1 activity only. |
The following call activity reports are available:

The Caller Application Usage Report is a summary of all caller access activities. Table 6-10 describes each field in this report.
