Configuration of the fax over IP capabilities on the gateserver is handled by the quickconfig tool. To enable faxing on the gateway, the Store and Forward Fax feature is used in conjunction with the software feature, Voice over IP for the Cisco AS5300. To use Store and Forward Fax, you must have the software component of Voice over IP for the Cisco AS5300 installed on your access server. In addition, you need to have a Microcom modem card installed.
