Setting Up Your Mailbox

Before you can send or receive any messages, you must set up your mailbox.

Step 1 Dial the access number. The system answers with a welcome greeting.

Step 2 Perform one of the following:

From your primary phone, press #.
(Your primary phone is the phone number that is associated with your uOne mailbox ID.)
From any other phone, enter your mailbox ID and press #.
If you have Personal Access, press *5 to login to your mailbox.

Step 3 Enter your temporary PIN and press #. Your temporary PIN is 1234.

Step 4 Enter your new PIN and press #, then enter it again to confirm it.
Your PIN must be between 4 and 8 digits long (depending on how your company has configured the system), cannot contain # or *, and should not be the same as the last 4 digits of your primary phone number.

Step 5 Record your name, and press # when you're done recording. Press one of the following:

1 to use the recording.
2 to hear the recording.
3 to rerecord your name.

Step 6 Record your all-calls greeting, and press # when you're done recording. Press one of the following:

1 to use the greeting.
2 to hear the greeting.
3 to rerecord the greeting.

Step 7 Listen as the system plays the Main menu to become familiar with the options.

Step 8 Hang up or press *9 to exit the system.

Note You can press *0 at any time to get help.
