Dialing by Name

If you don't know a subscriber's telephone number, you can dial the subscriber's name instead.

Step 1 Press 2 from the Main Menu.

Step 2 Press *6.

Step 3 Enter the subscriber's last name and press #. The system speaks the name and extension number of the subscriber. If the last name of more than one subscriber matches the letters you entered, the system speaks the name and extension number of each. If there are too many matches, the system prompts you to enter more letters.

Step 4 Press 1 to address the message. (If more than one name matches, press the number that corresponds to the subscriber's name you wish to call.)

Step 5 Repeat steps 4 and 5 to address the message to other recipients, or press *6 to dial by extension number.

Logging into Another Mailbox

This feature allows you to log into another mailbox, without hanging up from your current connection. This is useful when you're traveling with a group from the office. One person can access the system, log into her mailbox and get her messages, and give the phone to someone else who can then log in for his messages.

Note You cannot log into another mailbox if you use Personal Access for the initial connection. Also, the ability to log into another mailbox may not be available, depending on how your company has chosen to implement the system.

Step 1 While in the system, press *5.

Step 2 Enter your phone number and press #.

Step 3 Enter your PIN and press #.
