About Cisco uOne Documentation
This section discusses the objectives, audience, organization, and conventions of the Cisco uOne documentation.
The Cisco uOne documentation suite describes the tasks and commands necessary to install, configure, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot the uOne product.
This manual is written for anyone seeking an understanding of the uOne distributed platform and application Release 4.1S version. It assumes that readers of this document have a general understanding of messaging.
This manual uses the following notational conventions:
- Bold text is used for emphasis to indicate an important keyword, filename, etc.
- The courier fixed-width type style is used to present actual command input and output, and text file content.
- Text enclosed in angle brackets is used to present non-literal or optional command input (e.g., <fax number>).
- This

icon indicates that the Quick Configuration tool performs this configuration task.
