Overview
This manual is written for systems integrators who need to install and configure the uOne application. It assumes these administrators have experience with UNIX.
The user of this manual should have a reasonable understanding of the following:
- Networked computing solutions design.
- Internet messaging architectures.
- Networking architecture design.
- Standards knowledge (LDAP, IMAP, VPIM, TCP/IP, etc.).
- Telephony (PBX and Central Office interface characteristics and operation).
- Manipulating logs and generating reports in a UNIX environment.
- The selected hardware platform and 3rd party software (e.g. Netscape Directory Server, Netscape Messaging Server, Real Audio Server, Switch, etc.) including availability and scalability design issues.
- SNMP design and implementation.
- uOne architecture.
