Attendant call coverage allows you to specify a number to which callers can transfer when you do not answer your phone. This is helpful when you want another user to cover your calls when you are away from your phone. When you record your greeting, include instructions that tell your caller to press 0 (zero) to talk with someone immediately.
Follow these steps to set up attendant call coverage.
Step 2 Press 2 from the Mailbox Administration menu.
Step 3 Press 1 to enter a new or change an existing attendant call coverage number.
Step 4 Enter a phone number and press #. The system reads the number back to you.
Step 5 Press 1 to verify the number is correct or 2 to change the number.

Note Verifying the number also activates call coverage. |
Follow these steps to deactivate attendant call coverage.
Step 2 Press 2 from the Mailbox Administration menu.
Step 3 Press 2 to deactivate call coverage.
