Once you have accessed the system, you can call subscribers and non-subscribers without hanging up from your current connection using the following steps. Once you make a call, you are no longer in a uOne session.
Step 2 Enter a phone number.

Note You may not have the ability to call a non-uOne user, or to make a long distance or international call, depending on how your company has chosen to implement the system. |
If you do not know a uOne user's telephone number, you can dial the uOne user's name instead. You can do this any time you need to enter a telephone number, such as when adding addresses to a distribution list or when making a call.
Step 2 Enter the uOne user's last name using the telephone device key pad, and press #. The system speaks the name and extension number of the uOne user. If the last name of more than one uOne user matches the letters you entered, the system speaks the name and extension number of each. If there are too many matches, the system prompts you to enter more letters.
Step 3 Press 1 to address the message. (If more than one name matches, press the number that corresponds to the uOne user's name you wish to call.) Press # to start recording the message.
Step 4 Repeat steps 2 and 3 to address the message to other recipients, or press *6 to dial by extension number.
The following Table 11-1 lists the options for dialing by name.
| Press | To |
*3 | Re-enter the name. |
*6 | Return to dialing by extension number. |
*7 | Hear the name(s) again. |
