Make a Call

Placing a Call

Once you've accessed the system, you can call other users or dial outside the system without hanging up from your current connection.


Note The ability to call outside the system, or to make a long-distance or international call, may not be available depending on how your company has chosen to implement the system.

Step 1 Press *8.

Step 2 Enter a phone number or distribution list number.


Note Press # to cancel the call prior to ringing, or press *9 after ringing.

Leaving a Message for a User

When you call another user and the line is busy or there is no answer, you can leave a voice message.

Step 1 Place your call to a user.

If the line is busy or there is no answer, you may leave a message.

Step 2 Listen for the tone and record your message.

Step 3 Hang up to send the message or press # to edit the message.
