Attendant call coverage allows you to specify a number to which callers can transfer when you don't answer your phone. This is helpful when you want another user to cover your calls when you are away from your phone. When you record your greeting include instructions that tell your caller to press 0 to speak with someone immediately.
Step 1 Press 4 from the Main menu.
Step 2 Press 2 from the Mailbox Administration menu.
Step 3 Press 1 to enter a new or change an existing attendant call coverage number.
Step 4 Enter a phone number and press #. The system reads the number back to you.
Step 5 Press 1 to verify the number is correct or 2 to change the number.
Step 1 Press 4 from the Main menu.
Step 2 Press 2 from the Mailbox Administration menu.
Step 3 Press 2 to deactivate call coverage.
