Once you've accessed the system, you can call subscribers and non-subscribers without hanging up from your current connection. Once you Make a Call, you are no longer in a uOne session.
Step 1 Press *8.
Step 2 Enter a phone number.
If you don't know a uOne user's telephone number, you can dial the uOne user's name instead. You can do this anytime you need to enter a telephone number such as adding addresses to a Distribution List or when you are Making a Call.
Step 1 Whenever you are entering a telephone number, press *6.
Step 2 Enter the uOne user's last name and press #. The system speaks the name and extension number of the uOne user. If the last name of more than one uOne user matches the letters you entered, the system speaks the name and extension number of each. If there are too many matches, the system prompts you to enter more letters.
Step 3 Press 1 to address the message. (If more than one name matches, press the number that corresponds to the uOne user's name you wish to call.)
Step 4 Repeat steps 2 and 3to address the message to other recipients, or press *6 to dial by extension number.
| Press: | To: |
*3 | Re-enter the name. |
*6 | Return to dialing by extension number. |
*7 | Hear the name(s) again. |
This feature allows you to log into another mailbox, without hanging up from your current connection. This is useful when you're traveling with a group from the office. One person can access the system, log into her mailbox and get her messages, and give the phone to someone else who can then log in for his messages.
Step 1 While in the system, press *5.
Step 2 Enter your phone number and press #.
Step 3 Enter your PIN and press #.
