This chapter describes the Software Upgrade page and how to manage system software.
To facilitate management of the Cisco IOS images, the Cisco ICS 7700 System Manager includes a software library that stores Cisco IOS images. You can then display the images and deliver them to the various system cards.
To access the System Cards/Image Table, shown in Figure 6-1, click the Software Upgrade tab, which displays the system components and the Cisco IOS image that is running on each component.
This page contains three tables: The System Cards / Image table, the Software Library, and the History Log. This page also contains a link so that you can add images to the software library and three links at the bottom of the page which jump to each of the three tables.

The Software Library table includes an Action column you can use for the following tasks:
To add a image to the system software library, do the following:

Step 2 Enter the image file name in the Specify Image File Name field (the complete path name of the image file), or click Browse to select the file.
Step 3 Click Upload to ICS 7750 to add the image to the table.
To upload images from your PC to the system software library, do the following:

Step 2 Select the target card from the Select a Target System Card drop-down list.
Step 3 Click Deliver. The image is uploaded to the system software library. This process takes about 30 seconds for a 4-MB file.
When the upload is complete, the Software Upgrade main page appears with an entry for the uploaded image in the Image Management table.
To view the detailed information for a software image, click the Details link. The Detail page appears, as shown in Figure 6-4.
