Directories Created By the TrafficDirector Installation

Tables B-1 and B-2 list the directories created on your system when you install the TrafficDirector application on Windows NT or Solaris systems.

Directory	Description
/bin	Executables, icon files, other permanent files
/man	Documentation for the files, directories, and executables
/samples	Sample and default configuration file
/usr	User-specific configuration files
/reports	Report output files
/msql	Database tables created by the snapshot (dbsnapd) and extract (dbextrad) daemons
/perl5.004_04	Perl interpreter for interpreting and executing Perl programs
/binagent	Different SwitchProbe firmware versions
/log	Daemon and application logs generated to assist in troubleshooting
/scripts	Pre-written sample scripts used when configuring alarms
/ums	Information for the Umbrella Management System
/etc	Online help files
/mandatory	Files related to those in the /usr directory
