Setting Up Round-Trip Delay on Resources

Setting Up Round-Trip Delay on Resources

The Round Trip Delay application enables you to display, for a selected agent or Frame Relay agent, round-trip delay (IP ping) information. In order to use this feature, you must enable Resource Monitor in the agent. Detailed information about enabling the Resource Monitor option is provided in the SwitchProbe Installation and Configuration Guide. Use the information displayed to determine the response time of established nodes and evaluate network performance.

Note Round Trip Delay is available as an option on high performance SwitchProbes; it is not available on other third-party Remote Monitoring (RMON) agents.
