TrafficDirector includes two single-segment, single-domain applications:
Typically, you use a multisegment, multidomain tool to focus on the portion of your network you want to monitor, then use the single-segment, single-domain applications to focus on the portion you want to examine more closely.
The TopN Talkers window (available in 3-D graphic view only) is a generic graphic that includes all entities that are talking on a network segment. You can launch the TopN Talkers application in the following ways:
To launch TopN Talkers directly from the Traffic, Protocol, or Application level of the TrafficDirector main window, take the following steps:
Step 1 Select the Traffic, Protocol, or Application radio button to display the corresponding level of the TrafficDirector main window application area.
Step 2 Select the Agent, Switch Port With Routing Agent, or FrameRelay radio button, then do one of the following:
Step 3 Select the domain from the Domain Name list.
Step 4 Click the TopN Talkers icon.
The TrafficDirector TopN Talkers window (Figure 25-1) opens.

The TopN Talkers window sorts on Bytes Out by default; however, other sort options are available. To change the default sort option, select an option from the Sort menu. Table 25-1 shows the available options.

You can specify how the list is sorted by selecting one of the statistical values from the Sort menu. You can also view displays in different ways by selecting items from the View menu. Use All Talkers to verify the number of hosts in a domain or determine whether a specific host is included in that domain.

You can select a host for a domain and view various statistics by selecting Applications>Host Zoom from All Talkers.
