Generic Info Mediator Properties

Name

The name of the Info Mediator. Setting the name property resets PropsFile, RulesFile, and MessageLog to their defaults.

Server

The name of the Info Server to receive alerts. The default is: NCOMS.

PropsFile

The name of the properties file. The default is:
$OMNIHOME/Info Mediators/arch/name.props

RulesFile

The name of the rules file. The default is:
$OMNIHOME/Info Mediators/arch/name.rules

Buffering

Specifies whether or not to use buffering when sending alerts.
1 - use buffering, 2 - disable buffering. The default is: 1.

BufferSize

numeric

Number of alerts to buffer. The default is: 10.

MessageLog

Name of the file to send debug and other information messages. Can also be set to STDOUT and STDERR. The default is:
$OMNIHOME/log/name.log

MessageLevel

string

Lowest level of messages to be issued to the message log. Values, in ascending order are: debug, info, warn, error, fatal. The default is: warn.

Version

Print Info Mediator version without running the Info Mediator.

Manager

Name value to be set in the Manager field on generated alerts.

StoreAndForward

Controls the store and forward operations. 0 - disable store and forward, 1 - enable store and forward. The default is: 1.

SAFFileName

The name of the store and forward file. The default is: $OMNIHOME/var/<probename>.<destserver>.store.

Where <probename> is the name of the Info Mediator and <destserver> is the name of the target Info Server.

RetryConnectionCount

The number of events the Info Mediator should process in store and forward mode before trying to connect to the Info Server. The default is: 15

RetryConnectionTimeout

numeric

The number of seconds the Info Mediator should process events in store and forward mode before trying to connect to the Info Server. The default is: 30

MaxSAFFileSize

numeric

The maximum size the store and forward file can grow to. The default is: 1Mb

MaxLogFileSize

numeric

The maximum size the log file can grow to. The default is: 1Mb

AutoSAF

Turns on automatic store and forward mode.

RawCapture

Controls the raw capture mode. 0 - disable raw capture,
1 - enable raw capture.
The default is: 1.

RawCaptureFile

The name of the raw capture file. The default is:

$OMNIHOME/var/probename.cap

AuthUserName

The user name used to authenticate the Info Mediator when it connects to an Info Server running in secure mode.

AuthPassword

string

The password associated with the user name used to authenticate the Info Mediator when it connects to an Info Server running in secure mode. This password must be encrypted with the nco_crypt utility.
