This manual provides information about the components and capabilities of Release 10 of the Cisco WAN Manager (CWM) Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Service Agent.
The Cisco WAN Manager SNMP Service Agent is intended for users who wish to examine and use the tables used by the CWM software.
The Cisco WAN Manager SNMP Service Agent is intended for users who intend to develop applications such as provisioning.
This manual is organized as follows:
"Introduction" provides an overview of the CWM SNMP components and capabilities.
"Using the MIB" describes the organization and contents of the CWM Service Agent MIB (Management Information Base).
"Accessing the Network and Service MIBs" provides brief descriptions of Cisco WAN switches, as well as detailed descriptions of the CWM Network and Service MIBs and how to access them.
Appendix A, "Troubleshooting the Service Agents" describes some of the common errors returned by the Service Agent and possible solutions to the problem.
An index is also provided.
An installation guide focuses on installing the product. For complete information on other software products, refer to documentation specific to that product, such as Sun, HP, or Informix documentation for users and administrators.

The bold type is also used for keywords, names of commands, and names of keys on the keyboard.
Words and characters that are displayed on-screen are printed in courier font.
When set off from the main text, words and characters you should enter by the keyboard are printed in courier font in bold. When the word or character string is enclosed in angle brackets (< and >), you should substitute your own character string for the example presented in the text. When referenced in body text, the word is presented in bold type (not courier).
For example, when you see:
