1TrafficDirector supports Cisco-IOS-based RMON devices. Two group RMON support (that is, Alarms and Events) is provided in IOS versions 11.1. Full RMON support (all 9 groups) is provided as an option in the IOS 11.1 Plus and greater images for the 2500 family routers and the AS5200 and AS5300 access servers. 2Cisco routers supply the UserTracking application with ARP table information. 3IOS 10.3 may work, however it is not Year 2000 compliant. 4Not available on the CiscoWorks2000 CD; will be available on Cisco Connection Online. 5Provided only on the 4500 and 4700 series. 6Tested only on Solaris and AIX. 7Software Management: MSM and MSFC modules on Catalyst 6000 series devices. 8Software Management: Supervisor I, II, III, II-G, III-G, RSFC, ATM, FDDI, CDDI, and Token Ring Gigabit Ethernet Switch, Route Switch modules on Catalyst 5000 and 5500 series devices. 9IOS versions 3.2(7), 3.2(9), and 3.2(12) are compatible code bases for Catalyst 5000 ATM interfaces. 10Clustering is not supported in the Catalyst 3500 series.
