User Registrar Pages

This appendix described the pages for the User Registrar Subscriber and User Registrar Administrator applications.

User Registrar Subscriber

The User Registrar Subscriber pages enable subscribers to create a login, choose a username and password, choose a service, and activate their computer.

Table A-1 displays the filenames, titles, and a description of all the subscriber pages.

activate_reboot	Activating Equipment	Registers the subscriber's computer. Requires reboot.
activate_wait	Activating Equipment	Registers the subscriber's computer and displays the amount of time to wait.
add_computer	Registering a new Computer	Allows the subscriber to choose a computer name.
already_activate (control)	n/a	Post-login processing configurers can use for redirecting subscribers.
change_password	Change Password	Allows subscribers to change their password.
change_service	Change Service Subscription	Allows subscribers to change their service.
choose_service	Choose Service Subscription	Allows subscribers to choose a service.
choose_username	Choose User Name	Allows subscribers to choose a user name.
confirm_change_service	Confirm Service Subscription	Allows subscribers to confirm service change.
confirm_decline_svc_agr	Decline the Service Agreement	Reminds subscribers that they need to agree to the service agreement to continue the self-provisioning process.
confirm_delete_device	Confirm Delete Computer	Allows subscribers to confirm device deletion.
confirm_service	Confirm Service Subscription	Allows subscribers to confirm service selection.
confirm_update_device	Confirm Update Computer	Allows subscribers to confirm device change.
confirm_username	Confirm User Name	Allows subscribers to confirm user name entry.
congratulations	Congratulations	Informs subscribers that they have been successfully provisioned.
declined_svc_agreement	Declined the Service Agreement	Informs the subscriber that the self-provisioning process has been aborted.
disabled_message	Account Disabled	Notifies subscribers that their account is disabled.
first_time (control)	n/a	Populates the session with new subscriber, modem, and computer objects.
init (control)	n/a	Determines which login page to display.
invalid_nav	Detected Unauthorized Navigation	Allows subscribers to return to the previous page after using the back button on their browser.
known_login	Log in to User Registrar	Allows subscribers to log in with their user name.
logout	Log out of User Registrar	Allows subscribers to log out.
lost_pin	Lost Account	Allows subscribers to log in by account number.
max_cpe_reached	Maximum Number of Compters Reached	Requires the subscriber to upgrade the service or delete a computer.
new_login	Log in to User Registrar	Allows new subscribers to log in by account number.
new_login_pinonly	Log in to User Registrar	Allows new subscribers to log in by PIN.
select_locale	Select Your Language	Allows the subscriber to choose the language of User Registrar Subscriber pages.
steps	Overview of the Activation Process	Displays the list of steps in the self-provisioning process.
subscriber_admin (control)	n/a	Maintenance page for developers.
subscriber_info	Subscriber Information	Displays summary of subscriber information.
unknown_computer	Unregistered Computer	Asks subscribers whether their computer is new or changed.
unknown_modem	Unregistered Modem	Verifies that subscribers want to update their modem information.
update_computer	Re-configure Existing Computer	Updates the computer information.
update_device	Update Computer Information	Allows subscribers to update their computer information.
update_reboot	Re-activating Equipment	Updates the information and requires the subscriber to reboot.
update_wait	Re-activating Equipment	Updates the information and displays the amount of time the subscriber needs to wait.
urhelp	User Registrar Help	Displays the User Registrar help pages.
ur_redirect (control)	n/a	Redirects the subscriber login.
verify_account	Lost Account's PIN	Requires subscribers to answer a security question.

The User Registrar Administrator pages enable administrators to manage subscribers, devices, administrators, and run reports.
