You use the standard Microsoft Windows NT Add/Remove Programs utility to uninstall a CSRC software package.
When you uninstall the CSRC package, the installer does not remove the following:
In addition to showing how to uninstall CSRC, this chapter shows how to remove CSRC data and schema from the LDAP database and restore the LDAP database from backup media.
To uninstall CSRC, perform these steps:
Step 1 On the Windows NT taskbar, click Start>Settings>Control Panel.
Step 2 Click Add/Remove Programs.
Step 3 Select Cisco Subscriber Registration Center and click Add/Remove.
The uninstaller asks you to confirm that the software should be removed.
Step 4 Click OK. The uninstaller then removes all files associated with CSRC.
Step 5 On the Windows NT taskbar, click Start>Settings>Control Panel>System.
Step 6 Click the Environment tab.
Step 7 Remove the path components containing %CSRCROOT% from the system environment variables CLASSPATH and PATH.
Uninstalling CSRC does not automatically remove CSRC data and schema from the LDAP database. After you uninstall CSRC, you can restore the database to its original state by removing the CSRC data and schema from the database.
To remove the CSRC data from the NDS database, do the following:

Step 4 Double-click the Server Group folder.
Step 5 Double-click the Directory Server entry. The Directory Service Console window appears.
Step 6 From the Directory Service Console window, select the Directory tab.
Step 7 In the left-hand panel, expand the folders until the Root Directory Node you assigned during CSRC installation is visible.
Step 8 Locate and highlight the csrc folder in the Root Directory Node.
Step 9 In the Edit menu, select Delete.
Step 10 In the confirmation message, click Yes to confirm the deletion.
Step 11 Select OK at the prompt.
