This page describes the button functions, which are grouped as follows:
The buttons at the top of Cluster View, Cluster Builder, and Cluster Manager pages have the following functions:
| Button | Function |
| Legend | Launches the legend, which shows the meaning of each icon, label color, and link in Cluster View and in Cluster Builder. In Cluster Manager, the legend shows the meaning of the LED colors. |
| Save Config | Saves configuration changes in any view to nonvolatile memory on all cluster members. Catalyst 1900 and 2820 switches automatically save configuration changes to nonvolatile memory, so using this button has no effect. |
| User Settings | Launches the User Settings page, which allows you to configure settings for the entire application. These settings include changing the Cluster Builder and Cluster Manager polling interval, changing the link and device graph polling interval, disabling the Suggested Candidate start-up window, and selecting the default view to launch. For more information, click Help on the User Settings page. |
| Help | Displays help topics for the page. |
Cluster View and Cluster Builder contain the following buttons:
| Button | Function |
| Cluster Manager | Launches Cluster Manager, which displays cluster members in a consolidated physical view. Use Cluster Manager to display the switch port LED status and duplex and speed settings, to select and configure single and multiple ports on the same switch, to configure SNMP parameters, to display VLAN membership information, to upgrade software, to generate reports and graphs, and so forth. For more information, click Help on the Cluster Manager page. |
| Toggle Views | Alternately displays Cluster Builder or Cluster View. Cluster Builder shows a network map of the cluster members and candidates that are one hop away from the cluster. Use Cluster Builder to add and remove members from the cluster, display device reports and link graphs, and display performance graphs. For more information, click Help on the Cluster Builder page. Cluster View shows a network map of the cluster (as a double-switch icon), candidates, and edge devices directly connected to the cluster. Use Cluster View to display link graphs and access other views. For more information, click Help on the Cluster View page. |
| Toggle Labels | Alternately displays the host name or the IP address (or MAC address if no IP address is assigned) and port connection information. |
| Save Layout | Saves the device layout after you have arranged it in Cluster Builder or Cluster View. |
