Important Notes

This section describes the modifications that have been made for Version 5.37.

Switch MAC Address Used as CDP Device Name

To make CDP information easier to read, the following change has been made: If the user does not fill in a sysName for the switch, the switch sends its MAC address as its CDP device name. Otherwise, the switch sends the sysName as its CDP device name (CSCdj42503).

Port-Statistics Detail Screen Not Updated After Login Timeout

To resolve the problem of the statistics screen being updated after the login timeout, the switch does not update statistics if the console login times out (CSCdj50300).

sysUpTime Counter Wraps Too Early

The sysUpTime counter was wrapping too early. The sysUpTime counter now wraps after 2*32 centiseconds (CSCdj78996).
