The Cisco IP/VC 3525 Gateway stores information such as the operating software, FPGA files, and IVR messages on its on board Flash memory. The Cisco IP/VC Software Upload Utility allows you to update or upgrade any of these software modules in Flash memory.
To use the Cisco IP/VC Software Upload Utility to upload a file, perform the following steps:

Step 2 In the IP: text box, enter the IP address of the Cisco IP/VC unit to which you want to upload the software.
Step 3 In the Path text box, enter the path for the file you want to update. The update file must have a .fls extension. To browse for the path:
a. Click in the Look in text box. A file tree displays.
b. Select the folder that contains the file you want to upload. All .fls files that are stored in the folder appear in the list box.
c. In list box, select the file you want to up load. The complete path appears in the Path text box.
Step 4 In the User name text box, enter the name required to log in to the unit.
Step 5 In the Password text box, enter the password required to log in to the unit.
Step 6 Click Upload.
The Upload utility stops all activity on the gateway and overwrites the current file in Flash memory with the file you are uploading. The Uploading status box appears during the transfer.
Step 7 After the transfer completes, the Upload Complete Message box appears.
Click OK.
