To install the IP/VC 3500 software, perform the following steps:
Step 1 Start Windows or Window NT on the computer on which you want to install the configuration utility.
Step 2 Insert the IP/VC 3500 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive on the computer (usually drive D:).
If your CD-ROM drive is configured with Auto Insert Notification enabled, the Cisco IP/VC Installer window appears automatically.
If you do not have Auto Insert Notification enabled, click Start>Run and enter D:\setup (assuming D: is your CD -ROM drive) on the Run dialog box. After a few moments the Setup program displays the Cisco IP/TV Installer window.
Step 3 Follow the installation setup program instructions.
You can access the configuration software sequential windows by clicking the Next and Prev buttons. Some windows also have secondary windows that are accessed through buttons. These are identified by the name of the window they invoke, for example, the Date/Time Settings window is a secondary window of the Unit Identification window and can be accessed from the Date/Time button on this screen.
