ViewRunner Settings

This chapter describes how to set Cisco 6100 Series addresses for managing different Cisco 6100 Series systems in your network, and how to set certain ViewRunner preferences.

5.1 Specifying Cisco 6100 Series Addresses

You can specify addresses of various Cisco 6100 Series systems in the network using the Cisco 6100 Series Addresses dialog box. Access this dialog box through the ViewRunner Options menu (Figure 5-1).

Use the Addresses dialog box to add or delete Cisco 6100 Series addresses on your network (Figure 5-2). You can assign a name to each node for ease of reference.

You can access IP addresses from the ViewRunner toolbar. When you click the list-box in the IP Address field on the toolbar, you can see a list of all the IP address entered for that ViewRunner application. If you select a different IP address, you choose to access a different Cisco 6100 Series system while you run ViewRunner for Windows (Figure 5-3).

5.2 Setting ViewRunner Preferences

You can set the preferences for ViewRunner using the ViewRunner Preferences option from the Options drop-down menu on the ViewRunner toolbar (Figure 5-4).

From the ViewRunner Preferences dialog box, you can specify preferences such as:
