This chapter introduces the ViewRunner for Windows system requirements. The following system attributes required to run ViewRunner for Windows are described in the sections that follow.
The following are the hardware requirements for ViewRunner for Windows.
The following operating systems are supported by ViewRunner for Windows 2.3.5.
Cisco ViewRunner for Windows is a Y2K compliant application. However, Cisco ViewRunner for Windows relies on third party operating systems. The Y2K compliance information on page 3 may prove useful to Cisco customers.

If Power Management is enabled on your computer, you may want to disable this feature. It has been verified under Windows 95 that with Power Management enabled ViewRunner will eventually be unable to communicate through the Ethernet port. With Power Management disabled, this does not occur. In Windows 95, you can select the Power Icon in the Control Panel, and uncheck the "Allow Windows to Manage power use on this computer" option.
ViewRunner for Windows 2.3.5 is the craft interface for the Cisco 6100 for its 2.3.0 (SF-6100-2.3.0) release. It is bundled with the Cisco 6100 multiplexer chassis or may be downloaded from Cisco Connection Online (CCO).
