Determining whether a previous version of ViewRunner
database is installed.
Installing ViewRunner for HP OpenView 2.4.0.8.1.1.7 Database
Enter the Oracle Script directory [default=/opt/CSCOvrdb]:
Select the mount point that was used for the Oracle software
installation. Note that the mount point is not the same level as the
ORACLE_HOME location. A mount point refers to the top of the directory
structure. For example, a disk drive, such as /u01 or /opt, indicates
the first level directory. This is the mount point. For more
information on mount points, see the Oracle Installer Help System or
the Oracle Installation Guide.
Enter the Oracle mount point [default=/u01] :
Select the Oracle home directory that was used for the Oracle software
installation. This is typically set to
/mount_point/app/oracle/product/oracle_version
where mount_point represents the Oracle mount point and oracle_version
represents the Oracle version, such as 7.3.4.
Enter ORACLE_HOME [default=/u01/app/oracle/product/7.3.4] :
Enter the Oracle User Name[default=oracle]:
Enter the Oracle User Group Name[default=dba]:
Do you want to manually create the database[y,n,Default=n]:
Enter the Oracle System Identifier (SID) for the database[default=vrunner]:
Enter the parameters for the Oracle database.
Enter the size of the database for tuning purposes [(S)mall,(M)edium or
(L)arge]: s
Oracle tuning will be done for a SMALL database
Enter the default directory where the database should be created

The database redo logs contain information required for database
recovery. It is advisable to store the redo logs on a different disk
separate from the database data files because of the heavy write activity.
We will be creating 2 redo log files of this size where the database
will alternate between the two. As one redo log becomes full, it
will switch to the other redo log. Oracle refers to this as 2 redo log
groups with one member per group.
Enter the size of one redo log in megabytes [default=10M]:
Enter the directory where the redo logs should be created
[default=/u01/oradata/vrunner] : /opt/oradata/vrunner
With Oracle you can also Multiplex (or Mirror) your redo logs to
separate physical disks; changes made to one member of the group
are made to all members. If you wish to multiplex your redo logs
you can specify the directory location of the second member of each
group.
Do you wish to Multiplex your redo logs [default=N]:
