A.1 Cisco 673 Rear Panel Connectors

Figure A-1 shows the connectors located on the rear panel of the Cisco 673 units.

The following ports are located on the backside of the Cisco 673.

A.1.1 LAN Interface

The LAN interface uses an Ethernet port that conforms to the IEEE 802.3 and 802.3u protocols and supports 10 or 100 MBps half-duplex data rates on category 3 (10 MBps) or category 5 (100 MBps) twisted-pair wire at a distance of up to 100 meters or less. The Ethernet connector is an RJ-45. Table A-1 shows the connector pinouts.

The symmetric digital subscriber line (SDSL) port uses an RJ-11 connector. (see Figure A-4.) Table A-3 shows the connector pinouts for the SDSL connector.
