The following connectors are located on the rear panel of the Cisco 627 asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) Discrete Multi-Tone (DMT) modem (see Figure A-1):

The LAN interface uses an RJ-45 connector that conforms to the ATM Forum Specification for ATM 25.6 Mbits over a Category 3 (10 Mbps) or Category 5 (100 Mbps) twisted-pair wire at a distance of 100 meters or less. Table A-1 shows the connector pinouts.
