Audible and Visual Alarm Relays on the Cisco 6260 OC-3c I/O Module

I/O module part number IO-BOARD-1-62 Rev A0 (PCA assembly 800-06031-01 Rev B0)

The wire wrap headers that provide audible and visual alarm relay closures are not functional on the Cisco 6260 OC-3c I/O module.

These six relay alarms are affected:

• Audible Critical

• Audible Major

• Audible Minor

• Visual Critical

• Visual Major

• Visual Minor

This functionality will be added in the next revision of the Cisco 6260 OC-3c I/O module. If you have purchased any OC-3c I/O modules, model number IO-BOARD-1-62 Rev A0 (PCA assembly 800-06031-01 Rev B0), you will be notified in the near future on how to return these boards to Cisco in exchange for the new revision. There will be no cost to you for the exchange.
