Click the COMMISSION button or select COMMISSION from the Actions menu to change the state of the object from DECOMMISSIONED (Not Managed) to COMMISSIONED (Managed).
The Subrack discovery process will be started :
Subrack discovery includes the following actions:
1. It discovers the line cards that are mounted / pre provisioned in the Chassis
2. It create objects that represent the cards discovered and that are going to be managed
3. It will raise errors if any of the slots are in an errored state (e.g. Mismatched card, invalid/ failed)
4. It will create the appropriate number of port objects for each line card discovered
5. It discovers the interfaces associated with each of the ports
6. It creates corresponding objects on the system. This object represents the equipment status of the container.
Click the DECOMMISSION button or select DECOMMISSION from the Actions menu to change the status of the object from NORMAL to DECOMMISSIONED.

The ADSL Line Status screen has three tabbed sections:
The Line Status tab is split into two sections: ATUC/ATUR and Common.
The ATUC (local end of the ADSL line) and ATUR (remote end of the ADSL line) section displays the following attributes:
Displays the Noise Margin as seen by this ATU with respect to its received signal in tenth dB.
Displays the Measured difference in the total power transmitted by the peer ATU and the total power received by this ATU.
Displays the Measured total output power transmitted by this ATU. This is the measurement that was reported during the last activation sequence.
Indicates the maximum currently attainable data rate by the ATU. This value will be equal or greater than the current line rate.
Indicates the current state of the DMT transceiver. The current state can change dynamically.
The possible values displayed for ATUC are as follows:
Other: Unknown or other state.
PowerUp: DMT transceiver not yet configured.
Configure: DMT transceiver being configured.
Idle: Awaiting activation request from ATUR.
Tone: Requesting ATUR to be silent.
Activating: Activation in progress.
Training: Transceiver training in progress.
Analyzing: Channel analysis in progress.
Exchange: Exchanging final operating parameters.
SteadyState: Normal operating mode.
NotResponding: DMT transceiver not responding.
The possible values displayed for ATUR are as follows:
Other: Unknown or other state.
Activating: Activation in progress.
Training: Transceiver training in progress.
Analyzing: Channel analysis in progress.
Exchange: Exchanging final operating parameters.
Steady State: Normal operating mode.
Reports the issue number of the relevant standard that the DMT ADSL transceiver at the ATUC is currently operating to. The issue number will be fixed by the hardware and is transmitted by the ATUC in C-MSGS1 during initialization. In case of ATUR the issue number is transmitted by the ATUR in R-MSGS1 during initialization. The possible values displayed are as follows:
Other: unknown or other
t1413Issue1: ANSI T1.413 Issue 1
t1413Issue2: ANSI T1.413 Issue 2
t1413Issue3: ANSI T1.413 Issue 3
gdmtIssue1: ITU G.dmt Issue 1
etsiIssue1: ETSI DMT Issue 1
Reports bearer channel of downstream fast path. The possible values displayed are as follows:
None: Downstream fast path is unused
as0: AS0 channel uses the fast path
as1: AS1 channel uses the fast path
Reports bearer channel of upstream fast path. The possible values displayed are as follows:
