The CDM provides inventory details for each chassis and for each slot within the chassis. Inventory information can be retrieved from:
The Chassis inventory screen displays the Entity Asset Data parameters which identify the Chassis.
To view the Chassis Inventory screen:
Step 1 From the pop up menu on the selected chassis, select Inventory, then select Chassis. The Chassis Inventory screen appears:
The Chassis Inventory screen is a read only screen, you can select only one entry from the listing box. By default, the first Chassis object is selected in the listing box.
The Chassis Inventory screen contains a single Entity Asset Data tab which displays the following information for the selected Chassis object:
This option is used to view the Physical Entity parameters of the NI2 card.
To view the NI2 Inventory screen:
Step 1 From the pop up menu available on a selected NI2 object, select Inventory, then select NI2.
Step 2 The NI2 Inventory screen appears:
The NI2 Inventory screen is a read only screen, with two boxes, choose a chassis and an associated NI2. You can select only one entry from each listing box. By default, the first object is selected in each listing box.
The NI2 Inventory screen contains a single Physical Entity parameters tab which displays the following information for the selected NI2 object:
The Line Card Inventory screen is used to view the inventory information for the selected DMT Line Card.
To view the Line Card Inventory screen:
Step 1 From the pop up menu available on a selected Line Card, select Inventory, then select DMT Line Card.
Step 2 The Line Card Inventory screen appears:
Step 3 Select the required Chassis and Line Card from the listing box. The DMT Card Details are provided for the default Line Card highlighted in the listing box. You will see the following information:
