Installing the PA-4B-U Interface Cables

To continue your PA-4B-U port adapter installation, you must install the port adapter cables. The instructions that follow apply to all supported platforms.

Attaching a 4B-U Interface Cable

On a single PA-4B-U, you can use up to four Basic Rate Interface (BRI) connections.

Connect a PA-4B-U interface cable as follows:

Step 1 Attach the cable directly to the receptacle on the PA-4B-U. (See Figure 5-1.)

Step 2 Attach the network end of the cable to your RJ-45 wall jack.

This completes the procedure for attaching a PA-4B-U interface cable.
