The write command is a privileged command that requires supervisor mode to operate. This command allows you to write a configuration to the device's Flash ROM without restarting the device. The changes which were made to the configuration will not be applied until the device is restarted.
If the write command is issued and a configuration buffer has not been modified, it will return an error message indicating that no configuration changes have been made.
