The following table shows the Cisco RPMS resource management process:
1. Locates specific DNIS group or default DNIS group. If not found, call is rejected. | 2. Matches assigned DNIS group with customer profile or default customer profile. In no match call is rejected. | 3. Assigns resource. If resource is unavailable, call treatement applied. |
After call discrimination and before answering the call, Cisco RPMS matches the called DNIS number with the configured DNIS groups and one of the following occurs:
Whenever you add a customer or service type that uses DNIS-based resource management, complete the DNIS-Based Resource Management Worksheet.
Table C-1 is a sample of the DNIS-Based Resource Management Worksheet.

For default customer profile resource management, a default customer profile is used to answer all calls made through DNIS numbers that are not assigned to a customer profile.
Whenever you add a call type that uses default customer profile resource management, complete the Default Customer Profile Resource Management Worksheet.
