Available NAS Resource Worksheet

Before configuring Cisco Resource Pool Manager Server (Cisco RPMS), record the following information from each Cisco network access server (NAS) that will use the Cisco RPMS for resource management:

Resource groups---Cisco NAS resource group names must exactly match the resource group names configured in Cisco RPMS.
Ports---Record the resources available on each Cisco NAS for resource planning and allocation.

With this information, you can calculate the oversubscription ratio and add additional resources as necessary.

To display the configured call types, use the show call type command.
To display the available NAS resources, use the show ports command.

Completing the Available NAS Worksheet

After installing the Cisco RPMS environment, inventory your available NAS resources and list them in the Available NAS Resources Worksheet.
