This appendix describes how to use the messages utility to view messages (including error messages) sent to a user's system. This utility is a valuable troubleshooting tool that can aid technical support personnel.
To start the messages utility, follow these steps:
Step 1 Start a web browser.
Step 2 Enter the following URL:
http://servername:port/messages
where servername is the name of the server that is running the Cisco Service Selection Dashboard (Cisco SSD) and port is the port used to communicate with the messages utility.
The Cisco Service Selection Gateway Subscriber's Messages page appears. (See Figure D-1.)
Step 3 Enter the username and click Show Messages.
The user's messages (including error messages) appear.
